Jesus the A/C Tech started our encounter by giving me a call to let me know he was on his way and he was on time and punctual! He was professional,friendly and adhered to Covid protocols by wearing a masks indoors for our safety. He was quick in... routinely running maintenance on my A/C Unit outside, cleaned the Unit, removed dirt and debris from Unit. He inspected the Unit for any repairs needed. He then moved inside, checking the thermostat, checking the air for coolness coming out of the air vents... He also inspected our furnace while changing out the A/C filter. Jesus then made his suggestions without any pressure that needed to be done in order to maintain and keep our A/C Unit running at Optimal Levels!I went with the twice a year plan which allows for inspections and maintenance twice a year...once for the A/C Unit and One for the Heating/Furnace Unit. We had a great experience from start to finish. Jacob came to our home for a free estimate to replace our current unit. He took his time in doing a full assessment of our home, asked about all our needs. He showed us multiple options we could go... with. I really liked he was never pushy about signing a contract, or deciding right there and then. He answered follow up questions my husband and myself had after his visit. We had about 7 companies come out and give us quotes on a new unit, but Jacobs great customer service, attention to detail, and being easily accesible topped off the rest. Comfort time offers a great warranty, and great price for the unit too. Workers took care of the installation in the 2 day frame we got, and there weren’t any surprises on that either. Juan came out and performed our scheduled HVAC maintenance. In doing so he discovered two parts, one on the A/C unit and one on the heating unit that was not performing at 100%. He showed us the parts and the meter reading of both explaining in... full details how they work and what it means when they are not at their full potential. We elected to schedule him to return and replace those parts as well as a deep clean to the heating unit motor. Juan was very thorough, professional and knowledgeable. He did a great job. Tommy was great! He helped fix the issue with our ac, it was leaking water and by the time he left it was no longer leaking. Comfort Time just came out and installed a ductless AC unit for my house. The crew did a great job. The crew that came out for the install was very professional and efficient. They laid down tarps for the traffic areas and cleaned up the prep area... and install site very thoroughly. Couldn't have asked for a better job from anyone. I once considered doing this myself as a DIY but after watching how thorough they were, I'm glad that I chose to have them come out to do the install. The tech who serviced my unit today, Juan Castillo, was courteous, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. He performed a thorough system check... and tune up, and did a fantastic job. He took the time to explain how my system works which was very informative. I always recommend Comfort Time when someone asks if I know a good, honest Heating/AC company.Update 4/28/2022 : I had a follow up appointment with Comfort Time yesterday to inspect the attic components of my system. The technician Jesus Castaneda was every bit as courteous ,professional, and knowledgeable as I have come to expect from Comfort Time. He went above and beyond, leaving no stone unturned ensuring that the source of a roof leak was not from my AC unit components, as I had been told by a local roofing company. Always on time and thorough in inspections. I’ve had my new system a couple of years now and have Comfort Time do maintenance twice a year. With the fires last fall and just dusty and windy conditions, I want my indoor air quality as good as... possible! Todays techs were Jesus and Pete. Friendly, responsive to my questions and concerns. They readjusted airflow in a couple areas for me, and reviewed their inspection findings after changing the filters (which were really dirty, by the way) and cleaning the coils outside. They’re super careful about cleaning up after themselves, which is sooo nice! I contacted Comfort Time Heating & Cooling about replacing our furnace after it went out and receiving a bid from a well known company. I wanted to get a second opinion. The appointment process was very professional. Kevin came out and checked out... our furnace. He gave us repair options along with replacing our furnace.After going over the cost of replacing our furnace, the cost with Comfort Time H&C was half the cost of the prior company, “including new insulation”, and several other extras like UV lighting for mold and mildew, HIPA filters, etc.I signed the contract, on Friday, and the work was completed Tuesday of the following week. Hector & Jesse did a great job installing our new furnace. They were very professional and thorough in their work. They even updated a couple of things without additional charge.It was a great experience working with Comfort Time H&C from start to finish. I highly recommend them if you’re shopping for a new furnace or any other heating and cooling needs. Great job!!read more

This company is really the real deal. Service the way it should be. It was an emergency repair for our forced air heating. My 85 year old in-laws arrived from Florida. In the morning, it would not start. It was 64 degrees in the house. I called at... 6:30 am and received a call from the owner at 7:30. He fit me in the schedule and it was repaired by 11:00am!! Jesus was the technician who came and maintenance my heater. He gave me some possibilities for preventing my cat’s toys from falling into the furnace area. He was respectful of my interior by trying to prevent tracking dirt. But with 2 dogs, 2 cats... and 2 rabbits in the house there was no need to put in boot covers on. After getting many quotes for a new A/C unit and replacement of ducts we decided to go with Comfort Time. Angel and Crystal sure made a great lasting impression. Angel and his staff installed a new heating andA/C cooling unit in my home. They arranged for old Asbestos ducts to be safely removed by an approved asbestos removal company. Requested all permits from the city and their price was competitive. The... company quoted three days to installed and completed the work and it was completed in three days. His staff arrived every morning on time in company uniforms and worked efficiently in the attic taking minimal 15-20 minute breaks.At the end of the each day, they cleaned up after themselves very well. On the final day, the ac unit was up and running. A WiFi thermostat was included, which I can control while at home or on the go. Their work was approved instantly by the city. I called Comfort Time Heating and Cooling to troubleshot a problem with my A/C. Sometimes, when turned on, only the fan would turn on, not the condenser. The problem was intermittent. Jacob from Comfort Time arrive promptly within the time... scheduled. He was very professional and took care to keep things clean while he worked. During the time he was at the house the problem with the A/C was not occurring. He did a thorough inspection of the A/C unit both in the attic and on the side of the house. Comfort Time has been maintaining my A/C unit for the past 2 years and I have been always more than satisfied but this last visit was top notch! I have been considering getting an airscrubber but was either afraid of the cost or just didn't have... that much information on it. JACOB had all the answers. He shared information and also pictures of the unit they install so I can research it more while he was doing the maintenance. I finally made the decision to go with a UV system then found out that I had some other repairs that needed to be completed. I thought I had to put the UV system on hold but Jacob was so helpful in getting the cost down and even called his boss to get me a payment break. What a great company and awesome technician. The service was outstanding from start to finish. The initial presentation was professional and complete, and all of my questions were answered. During the installation process, the workers worked diligently, were respectful of my home, and left the... work area clear of debris and safety hazards at the end of each work day. All of the work was done using high quality components in accordance with City codes and ordinances, and passed the City inspection. Best of all, the placement of the equipment is visually appealing. And, yes, the system works great! I give Comfort Time 5 gold stars across the board.The above review was written 2 years ago, my opinion has not changed. I get my system checked every 6 months. This month I had a UV light installed to eliminate bacteria. Jacob did the installation. He was on time, pleasant, and quickly convinced me that the UV light is safe and would not damage the HVAC system. He installed the device, serviced the HVAC system and showed me how to set the programming device. Jacob’s work was consistent with what I have come to expect from this company. Angel came out right away for an estimate and once we booked they... even loaned us portable Window AC units (for free!) to survive the heat wave during installation. Angel made the process of getting city permits very easy and has always been very quick to answer our questions. During installation, the team was always very respectful, professional and would arrive on time, wear shoe covers, face cover and would clean up after themselves - and installation was very quick! We had our new air and heating system put in over a year ago and it’s awesome. Every person I speak with, both on the phone and in person are so helpful. We are beyond happy with the system and service. Had Jose come today for our scheduled... maintenance. He answered all my questions, and asked if I had any concerns. He made a few adjustments in flow to rooms and changed our filter as well as did the check up on both air and furnace. This company wants to be sure you’re satisfied with everything! Very impressed! My AC conked out at 3pm on a Friday. I called, figuring I'd have to survive the weekend of 90+ temps without AC and made an appointment for the following Monday. About half an hour later, Jose called and asked if they could come out... right away. Oh hell yes! They came, saw, and conquered the problem staying until 6pm to make sure it was done right. Jose and Kevin were polite and careful of my carpets: the saviors of my weekend. I signed up for Comfort Time's maintenance program on the spot!UPDATE: That happened a couple of years ago. Comfort Time has come to our rescue twice since then! First, a contractor doing remodeling work shorted out a wire. Jose came out, tried to replace a very expensive component, but it blew out! Poor guy, he actually ate the cost of the transformer himself! When Jose and Kevin came back to make the correct repair I told them I was concerned that Jose was going to pay $650 out of his own pocket, but they just said it would be a good lesson. Oh my.For the second rescue, Kevin came out to do regular maintenance on our unit, which we knew was on its last legs. He sat down with me and talked me through the options, no hard sell involved at all. My husband and I had already discussed replacing the unit so we made arrangements with Kevin to do it the following week. He showed up with the team, they did a terrific (and super fast!) job of replacing the unit, and Kevin followed up afterwards. When they found out my husband had just lost his job, they even worked with us on the payment.I rarely encounter such integrity in tradespeople. When you find a company this good, with great guys like Jose and Kevin, you need to hold on with both hands!Update update!Still very happy with Comfort Time. Jacob visited us this time for routine maintenance. Good communication and utmost respect for our carpets (more than we show our carpets, to be homiest). Sign the maintenance contract when they visit—you won’t regret it.read more

After years of struggling with an HVAC system that was not powerful enough to cool or heat my house, I decided to upgrade the whole system in May 2019. The job included relocating the furnace unit from my hallway closet to the attic, as well as... relocating the condenser unit to my backyard to be in compliance with city code. I've had the new system for almost a year, so I am writing this review to say that Angel and his Comfort Time team were really a pleasure to work with. Now I have an energy efficient system that is the right size for my house, and it keeps the whole house cool/warm and comfortable. Plus my utility bill over last summer was lower because I didn't have to run the air all day just to try to keep the house cool. Angel and his team were punctual, left the workspace clean every evening, and answered all my questions as we went along in the process. I really appreciated their attention to detail and responsiveness. I have had no issues with the HVAC, and I am very pleased with my decision to go with Comfort Time Heating & Cooling.
